“During the pandemic I had more time to spend at the keyboard. During those long days reflection I was inspired to write some original songs. I wrote “In a Dream” to help me escape to a place of peace and quiet, where there was no turmoil in the world. “Thinking” is a piece based on my life-long pursuit to question and ponder possibilities or alternative solutions to problems. “Let’s Go” was created as a joyful anthem to the pandemic we were finally leaving behind. The other songs are not my own but they have always been personal favorites, which I felt represented a sampling of wonderful classic melodies, and brought forth the same feeling of peace and upliftedness I was seeking in my own compositions.” – Marty Lesser
